Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern access to TiltLock and its automated trading risk-control features. TiltLock currently supports eligible simulation accounts only.
Eligibility and account security
Users must be legally able to enter into these terms and must provide accurate account information. Each user is responsible for protecting login credentials and for activity performed through their TiltLock account.
Supported account scope
The service currently supports eligible simulation or demo trading accounts. It must not be connected to or relied on for live trading until TiltLock expressly announces live-account support. Supported features may change as the service develops.
User authorization
By enabling the risk guard and connecting a trading account, the user authorizes TiltLock to read relevant account activity and, when a configured limit is reached, submit automated requests to cancel working orders and liquidate open positions. Automated requests will be identified as automated where required.
Execution is not guaranteed
A cancellation or liquidation request can be delayed, rejected, partially filled, or fail because of market conditions, exchange rules, broker availability, connectivity, insufficient liquidity, or other conditions outside TiltLock's control. TiltLock is a supplementary discipline tool, not a guaranteed stop-loss or brokerage service.
Trading risk and user responsibility
Futures trading involves substantial risk. TiltLock does not provide investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Users remain responsible for their trading decisions, positions, broker accounts, risk limits, and compliance with broker, exchange, prop-firm, and legal requirements.
Copy trading and different account limits
Accounts configured with different daily loss or trade limits may lock at different times. A trade copier may continue submitting orders to an account after TiltLock has locked it. TiltLock may repeatedly cancel or flatten those orders, but commissions, fees, slippage, rejected orders, or other losses may still occur. Users are responsible for disabling copy trading to a locked account or accepting the resulting risks and costs.
Settings locks
When a user locks settings, TiltLock may prevent changes until the configured unlock window or weekly unlock time. Users are responsible for reviewing settings before locking them and understand that support will not bypass a valid settings lock merely because the user changes their mind.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to bypass security, access another user's data, overload the service, or interfere with monitoring.
- Do not use TiltLock in violation of broker, exchange, prop-firm, or applicable legal requirements.
- Do not redistribute market data or use the service to manipulate markets or engage in abusive trading behavior.
- Do not reverse engineer or misuse non-public parts of the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Availability and changes
TiltLock may be unavailable during maintenance, outages, or provider failures. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued to protect users, meet legal requirements, or improve the service.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation or successful trade intervention. TiltLock is not responsible for trading losses, missed orders, rejected liquidations, provider outages, or indirect or consequential damages caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Suspension, termination, and contact
TiltLock may suspend access for security, abuse, nonpayment, legal requirements, or breach of these terms. Users may stop using the service and disconnect supported accounts. Questions can be sent to gettiltlock@gmail.com.
